We have met four times and we are in full sabbatical mode. Everyone one of us is doing something different and tailor making this time of reflection. We just set up a wiki for sharing and collaboration. Hope that is grows as we learn and share.

It was a wonderful evening, thanks to Nancy opening up her home. We watched the entire GALA on DVR, it took us over two hours because we kept rewinding and laughing. We are all looking forward to a wonderful school year that ends with our sabbatical.…

Today was another incredible day concerning the Golden Apple. We all got to go to Chicago City Hall and get a resolution with Mayor Daley. We missed two of us, Nancy was still feeling under the weather and Brooke had graduation at her school. I loved being with our group today. Pictures soon;)

All ten of us had a wonderful time today answering phones for the WTTW fund drive today. The time went by so fast is was amazing. We assembled at 12:30 and had lunch until 1:30. Then a quick introduction to the studio and how to take pledges was explained to us. Tonight we all met again for a reception with the Board of Directors and Selection Committee for the Golden Apple Foundation. The Golden Apple Class of 08 I feel is going to be the best yet. We are such a close group already. The sharing and mutual respect of what each of us is as individuals really showed tonight. The group "huddle" was an excellent example of how we feel as a group. We just scheduled our first "social" on the EIGHTH of June at Nancy's house at 6pm. Watch out - more to come:)
